Cancellation Policy
Timely re-schedules and cancellations are appreciated. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours notice if your plans change. ‼️ By booking a U-Pick appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that I will be participating in a self-guided herb harvest on the private farm fields of McBurney Tree Farm in Grass Valley, California. I recognize that outdoor environments naturally carry some risk, including—but not limited to—uneven terrain, gopher holes, thorns, poison oak, stinging insects (bees, wasps, etc.), and other wildlife or environmental conditions. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any personal risk, injury, allergic reaction, illness, or property loss that may occur during or as a result of my visit. I agree to hold harmless, indemnify, and release McBurney Tree Farm, its owners, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in this activity. Additional terms: • Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. • Dogs are not permitted on the property. • Personal and commercial photography is welcome. • Herbs gathered may be used personally or resold, but harvesting should be done mindfully and respectfully in accordance with seasonal availability. • I agree to bring my own tools and containers, and understand that gloves and closed-toed shoes are strongly recommended. By completing this booking, I confirm that I have read and agree to this waiver and hold harmless agreement.
